Access to the world famous Nushagak River: home to one of the worlds largest King Salmon runs. It's not uncommon to catch 10 to 20 fish in a day. Also Cohocove is only a 15 minute boat ride from Agulawok River and the Wood/Tikchik State park. The worlds largest state park. Over 1 million sockeye salmon return to this lake system. The salmon feed huge rainbows, grayling, dolly varden, pike and brown bears. Other wildlife include wolves, moose, caribou and many types of birds and ducks.
